The 1 Toolbox Your First Apartment Actually Needs
Day three: the bookshelf needs assembling, the blinds need hanging and something is already loose. You do not need a workshop. You need one case you can find in the dark.

WHY THIS ONE
- One case with the everyday basics: hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, tape measure and more, 39 pieces in total.
- Shoppers describe it as a good fit for small jobs in an apartment or dorm, and a common first set when you are starting out on your own.
- It is one of the most-reviewed tool sets in its category.
CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY
- Durability is the honest weak spot: reviewers report mixed results, and some say the tape measure broke after a couple of uses. It is a starter set, not professional gear.
- If you will build a lot of furniture, a separate good tape measure is a cheap upgrade.
